  10. Place ribs directly on BBQ grill and cook on both sides until dark brown and lightly crisped.
  11. Remove from BBQ and serve with your favourite sides, such as a fennel slaw (recipe below).

No matter your cooking ability behind the grill, there is no question that delicious sauces are the key to preparing an outstanding meal. Whether you prefer smoky or sweet barbecue flavors, our sauces taste great on anything from pulled pork to chicken and even baby back ribs.

If you’re looking to add a delicious classic barbecue sauce to your BBQ collection, search no further than the Whiskey BBQ Sauce. This smoky, tomato based sauce is made with Forty Creek Whisky that provides not only the perfect baste while grilling or roasting your favourite barbecue meats and veggies, but it also serves as a great marinade to lock in delicious flavors.

For those looking for a sweet and savoury sauce, the Black Currant and Foothills Honey BBQ Sauce will make the cut, and most importantly win over dad’s approval. Made with local black currants and honey the sauce adds a light smoky flavor to any meat. As a sauce that was made specifically for our Bison and Elk from the Canadian Rocky Mountain Ranch, it is great for basting when grilling or roasting or as a marinade.

No backyard barbecue is complete without a great bottle of ketchup! As a great addition to the Whisky BBQ Sauce and the Black Currant and Foothills Honey BBQ Sauce, the Heirloom Tomato Ketchup is what we like to think of as an adult version of the original bottled ketchup. Featuring blended local heirloom tomatoes with brown sugar and paprika, this will take your dipping game to the next level. Great with anything and everything you already enjoy with ketchup, this sauce also works great as a sophisticated dip for sausage and meatballs.
